This little frog was collected during a 2015 expedition to the Cerro Plateado Biological Reserve, in the high plateau of Cordillera del Condor, in southeastern Ecuador.  There is a great diversity of amphibians in the area.  Although remore, the species faces threats from mining and habitat destruction.
