I one of the tallest rain forests in the world, scientists have discovered a fanged frog that gives birth to live tadpoles. Of the 6,455 known species of frogs on our planet, it is the only one to exhibit this particular behavior. Like a handful of other frogs and toads, this newly-described amphibian from Sulawesi Island is capable of internal fertilization.
